MSRC Training Day

Saturday 18th July 2020

Brinsbury College, Pulborough 

30 Minute individual flatwork with Melissa Beer (small outdoor arena)

45 Minute polework in pairs with Jess Ayre (large outdoor arena)

45 Minute gridwork in pairs with Jess Ayre (large outdoor arena) 

Each lesson is £25 each

 

OPTION 1 – THE WEEKEND – £135 each (plus £30 for XC lesson) 

Stabling – 2 days/1 night (bedding included)

Lunch provided on both days

Saturday – Mechanical horse lesson, and a choice of 2 lessons; Group SJ, Group pole work, Group XC (at Coombelands) or individual flatwork

Sunday – Choice of 2 lessons; Group SJ, Group pole work, Group XC or individual flatwork

 

OPTION 2 – SATURDAY ONLY – £75 each (plus £30 for XC lesson) 

Day stabling (bedding included)

Lunch provided

Mechanical horse lesson, and a choice of 2 lessons; Group SJ, Group pole work, Group XC (at Coombelands) or individual flatwork

 

OPTION 3 – SUNDAY ONLY – £60 each 

Day stabling (bedding included)

Lunch provided

Choice of 2 lessons; Group SJ, Group pole work, Group XC or individual flatwork

 

TRAINERS 

Saturday – Melissa Beer (Flatwork) & Jessica Ayre (pole work, SJ & XC)

Sunday – Melissa Beer (Flatwork) & Chris Watts (pole work, SJ & XC)

PLEASE NOTE! 

  • To book, please EMAIL Liz on lizmarlow22@hotmail.com, stating which option you would like & which lessons you would like to take part in
  • A non-refundable deposit of £25.00 is payable upon confirmation of booking
  • Booking will be on a first come first served basis, and priority will be given to those wanting to do the whole weekend (there are 15 weekend spaces available)
  • Brinsbury DO NOT allow horse owners/riders to stay on site overnight in their lorries etc. However, there is accommodation available on the main campus over the road (student accommodation). To enquire further about this, please contact Brinsbury directly on ella.pierpoint@chichester.ac.uk. The Brinsbury yard manager will carry out evening checks and she will hold emergency contact details if a problem arises
  • For those wishing to take part in the XC training, you will go straight to Coombelands, then onto Brinsbury after your training to settle your horse into its stable
  • Group lessons will be held in the large outdoor school and the individual flatwork will be in the indoor school
  • The mechanical horse will be based in the stable yard
  • If space allows, spaces in the group sessions will be advertised separately
